Top management suspect a disgruntled employee might be sending company information offsite, by forwarding emails to their personal account. Is there anyway to monitor outbound emails on someone's Gmai. Hi all,I'm IT Director with a firm of about 100 people. Monitoring an employee's Gmail? Possible emailing off company data offsite. Is this possible/easy? And/or is there a better way? Or am I stuck with manually typing in each model number? Then run a 'simple' macro to go through the data and find the Model Number of each Service Tag. Ideally, I would use a bar-code scanner to quickly 'beep' in the Service Tag into a spreadsheet/database. I'm trying to avoid having to manually type in anything to minimize time, labor, and errors. Since the computers are no longer in service, they are not on the network so a remote query won't work. (The service tag is a 7-digit code typically found on the bottom of your system) Username: Password: Visit online to follow the status of the service: Contact the Dell Repair Center Directly 1.866.653. With a large number of computers I'm trying to find a way to automate that process. Note: I know about the Dell Support Site where I can enter the Service Tag. Or an on-line Service-Tag-to-Model-Number translator. I imagine that would be some kind of lookup table that contains Service Tags in one column and Model Numbers in another. I'm hoping I can simply use a bar-code scanner to read the Service Tag on the computers, and then use to derive the Model Number from the Service Tag. We need to do a physical inventory of a large number of Dell computers (Optiplex and Latitude) that are no longer in service.
